• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Experience working within a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and health records

• Deliver routine and acute care for students, including medication administration and first aid
• Manage care for students with chronic conditions and develop individual health plans in collaboration with families and staff
• Respond to health emergencies, maintain compliance with health regulations, and uphold confidentiality
• Promote a positive, health-focused environment through education and wellness initiatives
• Communicate closely with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns
• Maintain meticulous records and support compliance with state health requirements
