Position Overview:

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Hours will vary.

Location:

Lombard, IL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for physician encounters.
  • Take vital signs, record medical history/symptoms, and ensure chart/lab test results are available and complete.
  • Perform telephone triage, patient education, and handle physician & pharmacy phone calls; assist with appointments and admissions.
  • Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; document all activities.
  • Assist physicians with procedures as necessary.
  • Clean and stock patient examination rooms; prepare and sterilize instruments for procedures; maintain a list of needed supplies.
  • Complete paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, etc.
  • Check and restock medication cabinet; implement OSHA controls as required.
  • Assist in performing narcotic counts.
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns as a liaison between physician and patient.
  • Report all test results to patients as directed by the physician.
  • Assist in performing other projects and duties related to department objectives.
  • Work effectively in a team, accept constructive criticism, and follow work rules.
Experience &

Qualifications:
  • Current IL RN licensure.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting (new graduates may be considered under specific circumstances).
  • Utilize current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect, and cooperation.

Compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $27.00–$38.50 per hour, with the actual pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
