Retail Cashier

We are seeking an outgoing, friendly, and dependable team member to join our team as Retail Cashier at Ace Hardware. Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required—we provide thorough training from day one.

As a cashier, you are often the first and last interaction our customers have, making your role critical to delivering the helpful, friendly service Ace is known for. You’ll make a real impact by welcoming neighbors, assisting with transactions, and ensuring every customer leaves with a positive experience.

• Have retail or cashier experience? Bring it—we’ll build on it.
• Have a helpful attitude and attention to detail? We’ll train you on our systems and processes.
• Training starts on day one, with ongoing opportunities to grow within our store.

• Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly checkout experience
• Accurately process transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Answer basic customer questions and direct them to the right department when needed
• Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Be on your feet for most of your shift (6–8 hours)
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
