Role Description

The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lombard, IL. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining a strong pipeline, and nurturing relationships with founders and startup teams. Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach, leading discovery calls and product demos, collaborating with marketing to refine messaging, and working closely with product and operations to align client needs with BickleAI’s solutions.

The Business Development Manager will negotiate contracts, track performance metrics, and provide feedback on market trends to support strategic planning and revenue growth.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in SaaS or AI-driven products.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Ability to conduct effective discovery calls, deliver compelling product demos, and drive consultative sales conversations.
  • Experience in building and maintaining long-term client relationships, including contract negotiation and deal closing.
  • Comfort working with startup founders and early-stage companies, with an understanding of their unique challenges and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
  • Data-driven mindset, able to analyze sales metrics, market feedback, and customer behavior to inform strategy.
  • High level of initiative, ownership, and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Interest in AI, automation, and startup ecosystems; prior experience in these areas is a plus.
