Heavy Diesel Technician

Heavy Diesel Technician – Houston, TX

Seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain engines across various vehicles and equipment. This role requires 80% travel and will serve as a crucial liaison to ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity for our diesel‑powered assets.

• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on diesel engines.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance (PM), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
• Lead advanced diagnostic tests to identify complex issues and devise repair strategies, including overhauling and rebuilding components to specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines.
• Other duties as required.

• 3‑5 years of experience as a technician.
• Ase certifications required; training program provided.
• CDL preferred.
• Mechanic’s tool set.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits Schedule I drugs.

• Competitive compensation: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour.
• Vacation: minimum two (2) weeks.
