TORQ Coatings is a fast-growing concrete floor coatings company expanding across the Chicagoland market and beyond.

We are looking for an Installation Manager to lead our field crews, own the install process, and ensure every project is completed at a high level.

This is a hands-on leadership role — not a desk job.

You will be based out of Lombard, IL and must be willing to travel as needed to support new market launches.

As Installation Manager, you will be responsible for leading crews, managing installs, and maintaining quality across all jobs.

You will be expected to master the floor coating process, train others, and build a team that can scale.

• Lead all installation crews and field execution
• Work on job sites regularly to set the standard for quality and efficiency
• Master and enforce the full install process: prep, repair, coating, and finish
• Train and develop installers and crew leads
• Ensure high-quality installs delivered on time, every time
• Manage daily production schedules and job flow
• Oversee job site readiness, materials, and equipment
• Track KPIs including labor efficiency, job profitability, and completion times
• Maintain strong communication between sales, operations, and field teams
• Support hiring and onboarding of new installers
• Travel as needed to support and launch new markets

• 3–5 years in installation, production, or field leadership
• Experience leading crews in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong background in coatings, flooring, concrete, or construction trades
• Willingness to be hands-on in the field daily
• Proven ability to train and develop installers
• Comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets, and tracking performance metrics
• Understanding of job costing, labor efficiency, and production KPIs
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $70,000 — $90,000 (based on experience & performance)
