LV Property Management is looking for an experienced, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lombard, IL. If you're the person who enjoys figuring out what's wrong, knows how to fix it, and takes pride in getting the job done right, we'd love to talk to you.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, plus overtime as needed

Lombard, Illinois What You'll Be Doing This isn't a job where you'll spend your day doing the same thing over and over. You'll use your skills, judgment, and problem-solving abilities to keep our apartment community running smoothly.

You Will:

Diagnose and complete repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance

Complete service requests in occupied apartment homes efficiently and professionally

Troubleshoot problems and find solutions, not just temporary fixes

Prepare apartments for new residents and make sure they're move-in ready

Complete preventative maintenance to help catch problems before they become bigger ones

Help keep the property looking great, including curb appeal and seasonal grounds needs

Accurately document and track work orders in our maintenance system

Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and your property team Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for urgent after-hours maintenance needs

Our ideal Maintenance Technician has:

High school diploma or GED Previous apartment maintenance experience, strongly preferred

Ability to work independently complete service requests in occupied apartments

Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance

Enjoys troubleshooting and figuring out how to solve problems

Notices potential issues before someone needs to point them out Takes pride in quality workmanship and the appearance of the property

Understands that great customer service is just as important as making a great repair

Is dependable, professional, and follows through on commitments

Can manage multiple work orders and priorities without needing constant direction
