Job Description

The Pallet Jack Operator plays a crucial role in efficiently moving inventory and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and take pride in maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

Receive and execute orders from supervisors for accurate order picking.

Assist in the effective loading and unloading of delivery trucks.

Prepare and organize pallets for the safe handling of items.

Conduct pre-operational checks on electric pallet jacks for optimal safety and performance.

Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment as needed.

Maintain electric pallet jacks on a scheduled basis to ensure longevity.

Accurately pick orders from storage areas and verify them against order sheets.

Count customer‑requested items and promptly isolate and report any damaged goods to supervisors.

Operate electric pallet jacks to lift and transport items to labeling and quality control stations.

Ensure all items are properly boxed and labeled for shipment.

Safely and efficiently transport items to designated delivery pallets.

Report any unusual incidents or accidents to your supervisor immediately.

Remove empty containers from designated areas after completing picking tasks.

Engage in various warehouse activities, including replenishing product locations.

Label, sort, and store picked products accurately.

Assemble containers and boxes while maintaining a steady supply of necessary materials.
