Project Overview:
Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Bechtel's scope of service in Sentinel's current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.

A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. Job Summary:

Directs the physical count and inspection of arriving material and equipment. They oversee receiving documentation including commercial invoices, reviewing packing lists and bills of lading for completeness and accuracy. Reviews Material Receiving Reports (MRRs) for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Continually audits system data for accuracy and timeliness, generates reports and graphs to illustrate metrics. Ensures documentation is generated to record unsatisfactory over, short, and damage conditions (UOS&D) of material received .#LI-CS1

Major Responsibilities:
Ensures that material is stored in accordance with the project procurement storage plan and that the location of material in storage is properly recorded on the appropriate storage records (manually or automated.
Reviews the completion of physical inventories on a timely basis to ensure valid records are continuously maintained.
Participates in the project materials protection program in conjunction with other responsible groups within the project organization.
Disposes of surplus project materials as directed by Government Property Administration.
Oversees preparation of shipping documents and registers for materials shipped off to jobsite locations.
Develops individual jobsite instructions for performance of work within area of responsibility.
Ensures that control registers are prepared and maintained for industrial gas bottles and returnable reels and containers.
Prepares and maintains Inventory Control Records (manual and automated

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Education and Experience Requirements:

Level I - Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
Level II - Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and

Skills:

Extensive knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and parts.
Experience in receiving documentation paperwork requirements.
Computer skills, Microsoft office suite, Power Apps.
Working knowledge of DSCS / Site Sense or other materials management system.
Working knowledge of material storage and handling equipment
