Job DescriptionAs an associate involved in the production of semiconductor materials, you will focus on the fabrication of infrared materials for Raytheon Vision Systems. Work consists of routine production and non‑routine engineering support done with minimal or no supervision. You will follow ISO‑controlled process procedures in an environmentally controlled cleanroom, handling fragile materials and potentially hazardous chemicals with personal protective equipment. You will manage your work area, support laboratory operations, participate in production meetings, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure optimal workflow.
Responsibilities- Responsible for production execution in a semiconductor laboratory/cleanroom environment
- Understand technical aspects of your assigned process and work with process engineering to resolve production issues
- Use a computer to access work instructions, perform technical calculations, timekeeping, data entry and online training
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience with manual and semi‑automated processing equipment
- Minimum 2 years of wafer semiconductor fabrication experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- More than 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent
- Experience in DBH bonding, thin film deposition, photolithography, wet etch, or other cleanroom sensor chip assembly
- Experience handling process chemicals such as acids and solvents with appropriate PPE
- Experience with metrology equipment, measurement systems and visual inspections
- Experience with high‑tech fabrication instruments and tooling for dimensional target achievement
- Experience with statistical process control
The hourly range for this role is $27.88 to $37.50. This estimate is representative of all experience levels and is based on role, function, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and key skills.
