Description

Join Team CARFAX as a Senior Product Manager - Audience Data & Insights
One last thing:
Our four day summer work week continues in Summer 2026

The Senior Audience & Insights Product Manager will leverage consumer data to drive personalization across millions of users as they shop, buy, maintain, or sell cars. You'll implement the Customer Data Platform (CDP) into our products and processes while creating consumer insights that enable personalized experiences across all touchpoints.

You'll connect product teams, analyze cross-product engagement, and identify opportunities to increase user engagement. This role drives our consumer data strategy, ensuring insights are comprehensive, high-quality, and effectively leveraged across the organization to create unified customer experiences and business value. The ideal candidate brings strong product management experience, technical data fluency, and an entrepreneurial mind.

At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 4 days a week in our London office subject to change with future business needs. Our office will be moving to Reston, VA in 2026!
What you'll be doing:
  • Own and Evangelize Carfax’s Consumer Audience Data Strategy:
Define product vision, strategy, and solutions for centralized consumer audience while evangelizing data value to drive adoption and organizational buy-in.
  • Drive CDP Distribution and Accessibility:
Manage data products/endpoints enabling seamless integration and leverage by all downstream teams.
  • Define Segmentation and Success:
Develop segmentation frameworks, personas, and data products identifying high-value opportunities; establish KPIs measuring adoption and personalization effectiveness.
  • Govern and Ensure Quality:
Partner with Engineering on architecture decisions and lead platform governance for scalable, secure consumer data platform.
  • Proactively Close Data Gaps:
Map all data sources to create unified, compliant customer views; identify and close critical gaps for complete, activation-ready intelligence.
  • Serve as Cross-Product "Data Glue":
Connect product lines, break down silos, ensure unified consumer experiences by delivering shared audience insights and coordinating implementation.
  • Lead Development Teams:
Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, AI, Analytics) in developing and launching audience-centric products; establish governance and adoption frameworks.
  • Analyze Behavior and Transform Insights:
Analyze consumer needs, cross-product behavior, and drop-off points; transform intelligence into actionable data products, personas, and features.
  • What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years of product management focused on large scale platforms or services (preferred)
  • Previous experience launching and/or leading a Customer Data Platform
  • Proven experience managing data products, data APIs, or centralized data services (preferred)
  • Experience with audience segmentation, personas, and cross-product engagement analysis
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias toward action and customer focused innovation. You thrive on challenges and work proactively rather than reactively.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills - able to manage stakeholders up, down, and sideways.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; willingness to get into the details and drive clarity from ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to push forward on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for making decisions quickly in order to seize opportunities that lead to team success.
  • BA/BS
  • What’s in it for you:
  • Competitive compensation, benefits and generous time-off policies
