The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $26.00 per hour.
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Contracts Management Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where business, law, and technology intersect. As part of the Contracts Department, you’ll support the team in managing and improving contracts processes and compliance. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to meaningful projects that make an impact.
Job Description- Supporting and coordinating special projects for the Contracts Management team.
- Performing analysis of requirement compliance between new and existing business activities (e.g., comparing documents for terms and requirements).
- Assisting with contract close‑out activities, such as verifying completion status and reconciling accounts.
- Handle administrative and organizational tasks, including general correspondence, archiving, tracking metrics, etc.
- Taking on other duties and learning opportunities as assigned
- Special projects may involve:
- Conducting deep dive reviews of key regulatory topics and providing feedback on potential legal, contractual and business impacts (e.g., Buy Canadian Policy)
- Helping develop tools and systems to improve data and process management for the Contracts Department
- Currently enrolled in a university or college program related to Pre‑Law, Library Sciences, General Business and Administration
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrates well‑developed organizational, time management and decision making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Analytical / logical; attention to detail; thorough; meticulous; accurate detailed business / technical communication or equivalent (e.g. lab reports)
