As a Development Finance Coordinator, you will report to the Manager of Development Finance. This full-time temporary position for up to two years requires five years of experience in municipal finance. Key skills include knowledge of the Development Charges Act, financial reporting, and customer service. You will facilitate compliance and assist with financial sustainability in development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on Development Charges Act and municipal regulations
• Monitor growth projects within the Multi-Year Budget
• Prepare revenue projections and analyze reserve fund performance
• Develop financial models for development charge cash flows
• Coordinate committee support for development charges
Requirements:
• Honours degree in finance, business, or accounting
• Five years of experience in municipal finance
• Strong knowledge of JD Edwards and other systems
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction
Utilize your finance and analytics skills to support development initiatives across Ontario as a key member of the team.
