Trust Accounting Technician

Position: Trust Accounting Technician Contract Role
Join Canada Life as a Trust Accounting & Settlement Technician on a 9-month contract. Leverage your finance knowledge in mutual fund trades and compliance tasks every day.

In this temporary full-time role, you will report to the Associate Manager for Quadrus Trust & Settlement. The position requires a solid understanding of the Mutual Fund industry and Quadrus Policies. You will work independently and in a team, reconciling client trust accounts and settling trades to ensure accurate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily mutual fund and segregated fund trade settlements

• Manage trade settlement payments efficiently

• Reconcile daily bank deposits for client purchases

• Ensure compliance with CIRO regulations consistently

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve trade issues

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting

• Understanding of mutual fund and segregated fund processes

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent time management abilities

• Familiarity with CIRO rules and compliance
