Credit and Collections Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio by applying consistent, accurate, and proactive credit practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to credit team members on account management, credit regulations, and best practices.
• Ensure effective account oversight in full compliance with internal policies and applicable external laws and regulations.
• Oversee timely resolution of customer disputes.
• Identify and escalate material credit risks to management as appropriate.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of credit policies and procedures.
• Prepare reporting packages for multiple business units for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, including activities related to month‑end close.
• Participate in daily team activities such as huddles and provide clear direction on priorities.
• Provide backup support to the Credit Manager.

• Several years of commercial credit experience.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to provide training, guidance, and leadership.
• Highly analytical with sound business judgment, exceptional documentation abilities, and strong attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Proven problem‑solving skills with adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Solid understanding of financial controls and related procedures.
