Risk and Control Specialist Bank Operations

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Drive effective risk management as a Risk and Control Specialist in Bank Operations.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.

You will support the execution of Risk & Control Programs by managing assessments like PCIRA and RCSA. This position requires collaboration across operations and partner teams to identify and implement improvements. Your expertise in regulatory expectations will facilitate effective responses during audits and compliance activities, enhancing the bank's operational risk posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Risk & Control Programs and assessments

• Conduct control testing and alignment reviews

• Support remediation of operational issues

• Manage regulatory reporting and compliance tasks

• Cooperate with auditors and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in Risk or Audit in financial services

• Solid understanding of risk and control frameworks

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Effective communicator, written and spoken

• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships
