Internship - Buy-out Fund of Funds (Paris or London)

With €14.0 billion of investor commitments, Access Capital Partners is one of the leading private asset managers in Europe. The Buy-out Fund of funds team at Access is comprised of investments professionals located in Paris, London, Brussels, and Helsinki and invests in both primary commitments (selecting the best performing buy-out funds in Europe) and secondary transactions (LP stakes and GP-leds).
Role- We are seeking an Intern to assist our Buy-out Fund of funds investment team. The internship will include the following responsibilities:
- Supporting due diligence on primary commitments and secondary transactions
- Preparing investment recommendations
- Financial modelling
- Portfolio monitoring
- Developing and screening the pipeline of opportunities
- Supporting the team in day-to-day tasks
- Exceptional deal exposure with steep learning curve
- Active participation in the decision-making process with direct contact with senior members of the team
- Robust market expertise
- Diverse and inclusive environment with various nationalities within the team. English used as standard language in the office
- A full-time position may be possible at the end of the internship
- Graduated (or due to graduate) from a leading university / graduate school
- Previous internship in one of the following will be beneficial -- private equity, investment banking, transaction services in a leading audit firm
- Solid understanding of private equity funds and corporate finance
- Strong quantitative skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel in particular. Financial modelling skills will be highly valued
- Professional fluency in English is a must; fluency in other European languages would be an advantage
- Intellectual rigour, with ability to work efficiently and in an organised manner
- Good interpersonal skills
- Valid working permit in the European Union (if applying for Paris) or the UK (if applying for London)
