What You'll Do
As an Accounting & Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting LYNKED's financial operations and providing the analytical insight the Finance Manager and leadership team need to make informed decisions. You will serve as a backup to the Finance Coordinator while taking ownership of reporting, analysis, and pricing functions. You will:
Accounting Operations
Coordinate accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, tracking, approvals, and follow-ups
Perform monthly bank reconciliations by matching bank statements to the general ledger and investigating discrepancies
Perform intercompany reconciliations by reviewing balances and transactions between related entities to ensure accuracy and consistency
Support inventory tracking, costing, and month-end inventory adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Review expense submissions and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures
Maintain organized financial records and support audit and compliance requirements
Reporting & Analysis
Own and deliver monthly financial reporting packages to the Finance Manager, including variance analysis, commentary, and executive-ready summaries
Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial documentation processes
Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization or process improvement
Coordinate financial information flow between departments and entities within the consortium
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as required
Develop, maintain, and refine pricing models for LYNKED's products and services
Analyze cost structures, market data, and margin targets to support competitive and profitable pricing decisions
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and leadership to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives
Support proposal pricing and contract reviews as needed
General
Communicate professionally with vendors, internal staff, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters
Assist with process improvements and workflow efficiencies across the finance function
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned from time to time
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or financial analysis role
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation or active pursuit is considered a strong asset
Solid understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
Demonstrated ability to prepare and present financial reports with analytical insight, not just data compilation
Experience with pricing analysis or cost modelling is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial models, data analysis); experience Quick Books Online or similar accounting software
Familiarity with multi-entity or intercompany accounting environments is an advantage
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
A proactive, analytical mindset — someone who asks "why" and looks beyond the numbers
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
