Director of Treasury Services in Waterloo

As a temporary, full-time Director, you will lead corporate accounting, procurement, and inventory management efforts.

Your role encompasses responsibilities such as financial program administration, budget oversight, and the statutory role of Deputy Treasurer. This is an opportunity for seasoned finance professionals to shape policies and drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Treasury Services and Procurement managers

• Direct procurement strategies and compliance with purchasing by-law

• Implement accounting changes per Public Sector Accounting Board

• Manage accounts payable and construction payment processes

• Oversee corporate banking and cash management programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA)

• Progressive management experience in finance

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to navigate financial legislation and market trends
