10.2 ARS FC location near London, Ontario in the CACF network.
The Sr. Operations Manager oversees all budgetary, people development, and operations objectives. The Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the site, leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring staff, building positive employee relations, and developing leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center.
Responsibilities- Drive the creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to enable the functional area and the FC to meet and exceed business plan.
- Be responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
- Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable.
- Leverage Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, integrating them into improvement plans for the functional area.
- Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the network.
- Work closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers) to secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.
- Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Walk in the FC and around the area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
- Stand and/or walk an average of 5 miles daily.
- Work in construction/distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, or not air‑conditioned.
- Access all areas of the building, ascending and descending ladders, stairs and gangways safely and without limitation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or two (2+) years of equivalent experience.

The base salary range for this position is listed below.
