The manager will be responsible for a district spanning Kitchener to Windsor
. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the District Sales Manager responsibilities will include:
Responsible for managing a sales team of 7in a defined geographic district. The primary role of a District Sales manager is to manage and develop sales representatives as well as implement divisional sales strategies that will meet or exceed the district, region and companies’ revenue, growth, and profitability targets.Implement strategies to influence the growth of the active customer base utilizing omnichannel strategies.Manage sales forecasts and budgets for the sales team and regularly monitor and manage performance to meet and exceed plan.As a people leader in Wurth Canada’s, the DSM plays a key role in engaging their team and championing our cultural attributes.Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives within the district.Effectively identify future opportunities for growth within the district;Educate and support Sales Representatives with Route Planning & Speedy Touch training;Appropriately deal with business situations and/or challenges with team members and customers;Effectively support and identify hiring needs and performance plans for Sales Representatives as required;Responsible to be actively involved in the recruitment process of all new Sales Representatives;Effectively train Sales Representatives on their key responsibilities.The ideal candidate will bring:
Division specific market and product knowledge (Automotive or Industrial Distribution) to provide leadership in executing divisional strategies within the sales districtMinimum 3+ years of outside sales experience.Prior experience in a leadership role or the completion of the talent development program ensuring strong coaching, training, and talent development skills.Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.Degree / Diploma in Business, Sales, or a related field.Critical thinker with an aptitude for change management…
