About the role
Could you provide strong, compassionate leadership within a busy community mental health service for adults?
As Deputy Manager
, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Community Mental Health Service for Adults
, supporting the day‑to‑day management of the team and representing the service at managerial level, contributing directly to safe, effective and person‑centred care for adults living with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
Alongside the Service Manager, you will provide regular supervision, guide professional development and promote high clinical standards across a multi‑disciplinary team. This will involve leading communication across agencies, supporting clinical decision‑making, and ensuring operational processes, policies and governance requirements are consistently met. A calm, confident and supportive approach is essential, particularly when navigating complex risk, high‑pressure situations or sensitive issues.
The role also includes participation in the Integrated Mental Health Services out‑of‑hours on‑call rota, ensuring senior leadership is available during periods of urgent need.
