Senior Site Safety Lead

Full Time | Permanent

Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000

A growing general contractor is looking for a seasoned construction safety professional to support multiple active build sites across the region.

This is a field first role. You will be the go to safety presence on site, partnering directly with Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure projects are running safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with provincial legislation.

If you are confident in leading audits, handling investigations, mentoring junior coordinators, and pushing a proactive safety culture rather than reacting to incidents, this is worth a conversation.

• Oversee safety performance across several active construction projects
• Conduct regular site reviews and ensure deficiencies are corrected
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective action plans
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and hold trades accountable to site standards
• Support COR and ISO aligned processes and internal safety programs
• Track training, certifications, and documentation to maintain compliance
• Analyze incident trends and drive preventative initiatives
• Act as a visible safety leader in the field

• 5+ years of construction HSE experience with strong on site exposure
• Solid understanding of Ontario OHSA requirements
• Experience with audits, investigations, and multi site coordination
  
  Post secondary education in Health and Safety or related discipline preferred
• CRSP, CSP, or NCSO considered an asset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence site teams
