Legacy Giving Associate Director St. Joseph's

Join St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation as the Associate Director of Legacy Giving, where your experience in fundraising will expand our legacy program significantly. Lead personalized donor engagements in a full-time, office-based role.

This role involves strategy development alongside the Director of Development (Major Giving) to enhance the legacy giving program. You will manage a portfolio of 100-150 donors, utilizing your skills in cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Your expertise in legacy gifts will support comprehensive fundraising strategies while engaging loyally committed donors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement legacy giving strategies alongside the Director

• Manage relationships with current and prospective legacy donors

• Cultivate and solicit charitable gifts through estate planning strategies

• Integrate legacy giving into broader Foundation fundraising initiatives

• Provide expert advice on legacy giving best practices to colleagues

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fundraising, particularly legacy gift strategies

• Familiarity with estate planning and tax laws

• Skills in managing a donor portfolio effectively

• Ability to collaborate with volunteers and senior leadership

• University degree preferred or equivalent experience
