We provide innovative industrial automation products and solutions across a range of applications. We are currently seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to grow our market presence in South Western Ontario by driving new business opportunities and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
Position Summary:The Sales Engineer will develop and manage sales opportunities, working closely with customers across automotive, pharmaceutical, packaging, and material handling sectors. You will own the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, while supporting partner collaborations and representing CALTI professionally in the field.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Coordinate joint sales calls with partners
- Maintain CRM records and sales documentation (Hub Spot)
- Present proposals and support project implementation onsite
- Attend trade shows and participate in product training
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of industrial automation applications sales experience, typically gained working at manufacturers, distributors, or systems integrators; in lieu of direct experience, strong business development skills can be an asset.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and understand customer needs
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently
