Customer Retention Specialist ( Seasonal/Summer
As a Customer Retention Sales Specialist, you’ll own a pipeline of at‑risk customers, uncover the real issue, present the right solution, and close a commitment to stay. You’ll be measured by sales KPIs:
Save %, revenue retained (ARR), re‑churn avoidance, and pipeline execution.
- Own a book of At‑Risk Revenue (ARR): prioritize accounts by urgency × impact × win probability
- Sell the save: run discovery, isolate objections, negotiate targeted solutions, and close
- Control the call: de‑escalate with precision, set a simple plan, secure a time‑bound commitment
- Forecast & report: maintain clean notes, accurate staging, and tight CRM discipline
- Partner to win: coordinate with Operations/Billing/Support to solve issues and prevent re‑churn
- Continuously improve: sharpen talk tracks, test offers, share wins, and iterate using data
You consistently hit your monthly pipeline expectations and deliver ≥15% Save %. You outperform tiered goals through disciplined activity, conversion strength, and clean execution. You protect margin while still delivering a great customer experience. You become a reliable closer teammates learn from.
- Save Percentage (Saved Revenue ÷ your ARR)
- ARR retained and re‑churn rate
- Activity discipline (speed‑to‑engage, follow‑ups, next‑step set rate)
- Forecast accuracy + CRM data quality (Salesforce or similar)
