Laboratory Assistant

Position: Laboratory Assistant at ALS
Join ALS as a Laboratory Assistant in our Centralized Soil Prep Lab. Contribute to scientific testing with sample preparation and routine tasks in a supportive team environment.

This role focuses on assisting analysts, conducting laboratory maintenance, and performing sample disposal. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous laboratory experience and a high school diploma are required to thrive in this fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist analysts in sample preparation and analysis

• Dispose of samples according to established guidelines

• Train new lab assistants on procedures

• Retrieve and store samples properly

• Comply with safety regulations and policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous laboratory experience preferred

• Good command of English communication skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly
