Larlyn Property Management is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our Southwestern Ontario portfolio. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible with scheduling, and comfortable supporting weekend or on-call emergency needs when required.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will assist with general maintenance, suite preparation, repairs, and property upkeep across multiple sites. Responsibilities may include:
Completing maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerPreparing vacant units for re-renting, including minor repairs, touch-ups, hardware adjustments, fixture replacements, and general clean-upPerforming minor plumbing, drywall repairs, painting, and basic HVAC maintenanceRepairing fences, decks, gates, railings, stairs, walls, and partitionsAssisting with exterior maintenance, including minor landscaping, patio stones, gardening, eaves troughs, downspouts, and snow removalTroubleshooting leaks, noises, and general building issuesAssisting other sites as operational needs ariseParticipating in rotating on-call emergency maintenance coverageWhat We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and customer-focused. The successful candidate will bring:
Minimum years of maintenance service experienceRenovation experience is considered an assetStrong time-management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenAbility to complete paperwork accurately and neatlyComfort using basic technologyA positive attitude and strong commitment to customer serviceAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts as neededPhysical and Practical Requirements
This role requires hands-on physical work. Candidates must be able to:
Walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the dayManeuver up to kg with proper equipmentProvide their own tools by the end of the probationary periodHave access to their own vehicle; a truck or trailer is preferredThis is a full-time position based out of our London office, supporting properties across Southwestern Ontario. While the regular schedule is generally Monday to Friday, flexibility is required to support operational needs, weekend work, and rotating on-call duties.
