Excavator Operator - Track Maintenance Role

As a Hi-Rail Excavator Operator, you will report directly to the Track Supervisor and Foreman. Your primary role involves operating equipment for track tie installations and supporting various maintenance activities. Mechanical aptitude will be vital for minor repairs and regular equipment upkeep, enhancing your contribution to PNR Rail Works’ quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavator to assist with track tie installation

• Collaborate with ground crew on track maintenance initiatives

• Ensure equipment safety and perform regular checks

• Keep work environment clean and organized

• Document material and equipment usage accurately

Requirements:

• Full class G driver's license required

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and hydraulics

• Knowledge of safety protocols and maintenance procedures

• Capable of interpreting construction documents

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
