Maple Leaf Automation​/Controls Specialist

In this role, you report to the Automation Manager and are responsible for enhancing equipment efficiency while supporting training and continuous improvement initiatives. You will oversee system backups, disaster recovery protocols, and adherence to safety standards in operational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Automation Strategy Plan alignment

• Perform troubleshooting on Controls and Automation systems

• Facilitate training programs for department personnel

• Engage in proactive maintenance strategies

• Maintain compliance with facility regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in Industrial Controls/Automation

• Experience in PLC programming and calibration

• Strong analytical aptitude for solving complex issues

• Ability to develop and manage electrical prints

• Familiarity with current safety standards
