Join Western University as a Fire Safety Technician II in a 22-month role focusing on fire safety and emergency management. Ensure a safe atmosphere for all campus community members with your technical expertise.
The ideal candidate will have a community college diploma in fire protection and relevant inspection experience. You will support fire safety through compliance testing and inspections under the Ontario Fire Code.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular fire safety inspections and testing
• Engage staff and students in fire prevention education
• Ensure standards adherence for fire alarm systems
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results
• Develop and manage effective work schedules
Requirements:
• 2 years' experience with fire safety regulations
• Strong understanding of ULC and NFPA standards
• Proficiency in fire alarm testing technology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with Western University policies preferred
