As a Brake and Tire Technician, you'll ensure U-Haul's cutting-edge vehicles remain in optimal condition. If you have a basic mechanical aptitude and experience in vehicle repair, this position is ideal for you. U-Haul offers an engaging team environment with continual skill development through its Technician Training Program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps
• Perform tire and brake maintenance efficiently
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires
• Occasionally road test vehicles for safety
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of vehicle repair experience preferred
• Basic computer skills for maintenance reports
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work individually and in teams
• Commitment to regular attendance and safety
