In this leadership role, you will oversee daily shop operations, ensuring continuous workflow and quality project completion. Your experience in trade certifications and heavy equipment will be instrumental in mentoring our skilled technicians and apprentices. You will promote safety culture and ensure adherence to work procedures while resolving conflicts and scheduling tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach and mentor a team of technicians
• Oversee day-to-day operations in the shop
• Verify accuracy of time cards and job descriptions
• Assist technicians with troubleshooting and questions
• Organize and schedule work for optimal efficiency
Requirements:
• 3-4 years of relevant leadership experience
• Trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal qualification
• Experience in Detroit/Allison and diagnostic software
• Strong organization and mentoring skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and culture
