Position: Underground Development Miner Role at Technica
Join Technica as an Underground Development Miner in Sudbury, ON, and help drive the success of our safety-focused operations. Bring your expertise in manual and mechanized bolting, drill operation, and scoop handling.

We are looking for experienced Development Miners with at least 2 years of underground development experience. Candidates should have certifications such as the Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core and specialty modules including operating a Scissor Lift.

Your role will involve various underground tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare drill load and blast rounds safely

• Operate Jumbo drills and mechanized bolting equipment

• Assist with ground support and mechanical installations

• Conduct pre-operational inspections of bolting equipment

• Inspect and maintain safe conditions in underground headings

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of underground development experience

• Certification in Underground Hard Rock Mining Core

• Experience with Epiroc Jumbo and Mac Lean Bolters

• Familiarity with jackleg and stoper operations

• Commitment to safety and efficiency in underground work
