SAP Plant Maintenance Subject Matter Expert; SAP PM SME

Our client based in London is currently looking for a SAP Plant Maintenance consultant for a 3‑month rolling assignment. This role will be working on a SAP S/4 HANA upgrade project (ECC
6.0 to S/4).

• Lead/support system implementation and all required deliverables from fit/gap through testing and production deployment project phases with focus on the Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) business process areas.
• Manage multiple stakeholder groups, translating and interpreting business needs into actionable requirements and into deliverable solutions.
• Provide guidance to internal Business Leads on application functions and SAP best practice processes.
• Lead solution development by identifying development objectives, performing functional spec development, and system configuration requirements along with integration partner.
• Support change management activities by assisting with development of training materials, training scenarios, documentation, communication and change impacts.
• Support business acceptance of the solution through development of test scenarios and Service Delivery handover documentation.
• Maintain and control the suite of reporting that is utilized to drive the business process and measure its effectiveness.
• Lead timely issue identification, resolution, and escalation when appropriate.
• Manage & prioritize the IT demand generated, reviewing continuous improvement initiatives through to making capital appropriation requests for large projects.
• Proactively communicate progress of directly or indirectly owned pending demand and active projects throughout the life cycle.
• Hybrid project – 1 day per week onsite is required for the design phase of the project (expenses covered by client).

• Strong background in Asset Lifecycle Management within regulated manufacturing, particularly plant management.
• Deep functional knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) (S/4
  
  HANA and ECC).
• Proven experience delivering multi‑site engineering or IT change.
• Expertise in master data definition and governance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical detail into business outcomes.
