Must have home care and home health experience. No exceptions for clinical involvement.
Description:
RNs will be expected to manage roughly 30 patients. The position requires 6.5 points a day with responsibilities including start of care, recertifications, and daily visits. Experience on a Medsurg floor in a hospital setting is required. RNs will have access to a clinical manager or educator 24/7 for emergencies, or from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for regular inquiries. Employees will typically work five 8-hour shifts.
Weekend shifts are dependent on the number of nurses in rotation. Participation in holiday rotations is required. No on-call duties are expected for this position. The primary focus is on home health rather than hospice care. Scrubs are required, with no specific color requirements. RNs will receive two weeks of orientation with a work coach. Required equipment includes a phone and tablet.
The charting system used is Homecare Homebase (HCHB). Home Health Aides must also be licensed in the state.
