Travel Stepdown RN

• Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or inpatient units, with a focus on cardiac health.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing protocols, assist in cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Observe, record, and report patient conditions, responding to emergencies per standards and protocols.
• Develop patient education plans on cardiac health and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

• Minimum one year recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification.
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac care, telemetry monitoring, and emergency response.
• Effective communication, physical stamina, and technical motor skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, work independently or with supervision, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients as needed.
