Appian is seeking a Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant to lead technical engagement during the sales process for Broad Markets (non-FSI and Public Sector accounts) in the UK & Ireland. This hybrid role requires in-office presence in London with ~30% travel. The role follows the SC 2.0 model, acting as a strategic partner to customers, co-creating solutions, and articulating the business value of Appian's platform.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with Account Executives to meet sales goals across large UK & Ireland accounts (non-FSI and Public Sector).
• Manage all technical aspects of a sales cycle from initial meetings to final presentations.
• Lead discovery with clients to fully understand business needs; write and organize technical responses for RFPs and formal proposals.
• Build and present proof-of-concept applications addressing specific customer problems.
• Explain technical details and business benefits to executives and stakeholders; represent Appian at industry events.
• Develop long-term relationships with client technical staff and collaborate with internal teams to close deals.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 10+ years as a Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer for enterprise software.
• Hands-on technical background (e.g., software engineering or technical consulting).
• Sales partnership mindset with shared accountability for account planning and revenue targets.
• Deep functional knowledge; comfortable discussing production environments, APIs, application servers, and databases.
• Experience with large accounts and a value-selling approach.
