Overview
House Smart Construction – Installer II
House Smart’s Installer II will be a key player in the setup of manufactured homes. This role will work with the Crew Chief and team to ensure the home is set up safely and efficiently. There is a wealth of technical skills to learn in addition to your experience. We work with new hires to train and help develop the skills needed to succeed!
Responsibilities- Support the Crew Chief and team with safely setting up the manufactured home by completing assigned construction tasks.
- Install vapor barriers (training provided).
- Learn and perform leveling and bolting of floors and walls, anchoring walls, and other specific, technical tasks.
- Perform basic masonry work as needed.
- Assist with electrical and plumbing crossovers.
- Assist with bonding wires and repair of bottom boards.
- Help new team members develop and learn new skills safely.
- Coordinate with the Crew Chief to understand daily priorities.
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- $16.50 - $19.00 per hour (depending on experience; higher pay possible with performance).
- Paid weekly.
- General construction experience.
- Enjoy working with hands and being outdoors.
- Desire to learn and grow your career.
- Comfort with heights (ladder), crawl spaces, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with hand/power tools such as hammers, levels, drills, and an impact wrench.
