What you’ll be doing

We’re looking for a Databricks Manager to join our team and deliver scalable cloud‑native data platforms for enterprise clients while helping strengthen Kubrick’s growing Databricks capability.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you’ll combine deep engineering expertise with client collaboration, delivery leadership, and mentorship across delivery teams.

Working closely with clients, internal stakeholders and Databricks Professional Services, you’ll help solve complex technical challenges while supporting engineering best practice across delivery squads.

You will:

  • Design, build and optimise cloud‑native data platforms using Databricks, Spark and Delta Lake
  • Lead technical delivery across client engagements, often alongside Databricks Professional Services
  • Build and optimise scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL and CI/CD best practices
  • Translate business problems into robust, production‑grade data solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across delivery squads
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, capability development and technical best practice within our Databricks Centre of Excellence
  • Support the continued growth of Kubrick’s Databricks capability across clients and industries
What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for curious, collaborative people who enjoy solving complex challenges, sharing knowledge and continuing to grow in a fast‑evolving space.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
  • Cloud expertise across AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and data governance
  • Experience leading technical delivery within enterprise environments
  • Confidence working directly with clients and technical stakeholders
  • A mindset focused on quality, impact and continuous improvement
Your development at Kubrick:

Alongside hands‑on client exposure, you’ll have opportunities to continue growing your technical expertise, leadership capability, and industry profile through:

  • 20 dedicated development days each year
  • Fully funded certifications across Databricks, Azure, AWS and more
  • Close collaboration with our Databricks Centre of Excellence, led by experienced technical specialists with deep expertise across data and AI
  • Mentoring through our Centre of Excellence
  • Ongoing collaboration with senior technical leaders.
  • Access to technical communities, events and opportunities to build your network across the wider Databricks ecosystem.
  • Leadership and capability development programmes
Additional benefits

Alongside continued investment in your technical and professional development, you’ll also have access to a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing, flexibility and life outside of work, including:

  • 33 days annual leave (25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays)
  • Pension matching up to 5%
  • Unlimited mental health support through Help@Hand
  • Enhanced paid family leave
  • Additional family leave support, including fertility treatment leave and dependent care leave
  • Financial wellbeing support
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Specsavers eye care vouchers
  • Flexible working options
  • Internal mobility and career development opportunities
  • Recognition and reward programs
  • Learning and development opportunities, including professional certifications
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Mental health, diversity and inclusion support
