Financial Associate (Business/ Cashier Office)
This position works under immediate supervision and requires some knowledge of accounting systems and procedures. Responsibilities include performing data entry, processing vouchers, submitting invoices, preparing local funds, validating vouchers, verifying invoices, reconciling discrepancies, verifying appropriation sources, matching invoices, placing invoices, verifying accuracy, forwarding invoices, obtaining receivers, examining invoices, utilizing resources, preparing reports, posting, updating, balancing ledgers, answering inquiries, composing correspondence, maintaining files, operating equipment, attending meetings, assisting other associates, working on special projects, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for this position include 18 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance to include a basic level of experience in spreadsheet software, completion of a high school technical program in accounting with 6 months of experience or training in accounting or finance to include a basic level of experience in spreadsheet software, completion of an associate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
