Position: SALES-PRICE PLANNING STAFF

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or related field and 1 year production experience with an emphasis on product development, customer relations and negotiation? WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Facilitating activities in compliance with our company and group objectives. Supporting the Sales Price Planning department by providing accurate quotations and customer service. Performing all duties related to the RFQ process. Communicating progress of quotations and maintaining all documentation to ensure accurate and timely quotes.

  • Maintain external and internal databases.
  • Manage all aspects of accounts to obtain a positive customer relationship and a strong cohesive team.
  • Track and provide status of activities as related to Continuous Improvement. Complete daily tasks to ensure all company objectives and targets are achieved.
  • Follow all company and departmental policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Report all activities to Sales Assistant Manager or Manager for approval. Complete all other duties as assigned.

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or related field or related experience
  • 1 year production experience emphasis on product development, customer relations and negotiation (preferred).
  • Ability to understand product drawings
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.
  • Required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
HAZARDS:
  • While performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts.
  • Moderate noise levels with specific areas required to wear hearing protection.
