Provides instruction in graphic arts and individual assistance. Assesses educational needs of inmate. Develops lesson plans to address those needs to include individual assignments and training. Provides instruction and individual assistance. Administers, scores, and interprets examinations and proficiency indicators.
Maintains discipline and/or security. Counsels' students concerning their performance, behavior and/or personal problems. Attends meetings as required. Prepares required records and reports (e.g., enrollment, grades, student progress). Inventories and orders supplies and materials needed. Researches, selects, and recommends new teaching materials. Attends in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development. Performs other duties as assigned.

Teacher 1, 71471, must also have baccalaureate degree or less per OEA agreement;
