Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) position at Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center providing healthcare services to vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

Assist providers with exams, blood draws, injections, referrals to specialists, patient education, and medication refills in a fast‑paced but manageable work environment with supportive staff.

Position Information
  • Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Primary Service Center: London, Ohio
  • FLSA Status: Hourly – Non‑Exempt position
  • Work Hours: Full‑time position
Education Requirements
  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
  • Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
  • CPR certification required – can be obtained by RHCHC.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Ohio; CPR certification required; PALS/ACLS preferred; current driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations, write reports and business correspondence, and present information to managers, clients, and the public.
  • Mathematical skills including basic algebra, geometry, percentages, etc.
  • Problem‑solving and reasoning ability in varied situations with limited standardization.
  • Working knowledge of database software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Federally Qualified Health Center mission, patient‑centered care, and commitment to quality and comprehensive services.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of privacy policies and patient health information confidentiality.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50lb, use hands and arm, and meet other described demands.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and variable schedules; possible overtime.
