Data Center Security Officer

Securitas is seeking a vigilant Data Center Security Officer to protect high-value facilities, equipment, and information. In this role, you will control access to sensitive areas, verify identities, manage badges, and monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems. You will conduct interior and exterior patrols, document incidents, respond to emergencies, and support safety procedures. Success in this role requires professionalism, strong observation, clear communication, and a customer-service mindset while working closely with clients, visitors, and team members to uphold strict security standards.

Responsibilities

• Control facility access, verify identities, and manage visitor and employee badges
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems for unusual or suspicious activity
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the data center and surrounding areas
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents according to established procedures
• Document activities and incidents through accurate, timely reports and logs
• Provide professional, customer-focused assistance to clients, visitors, and staff
• Enforce security policies, safety rules, and data center protocols
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to maintain secure operations
