• Attend Child in Need planning meetings
• Implement Child in Need plans efficiently
• Review and monitor Child in Need care plans in accordance with legislation
• Identify resources and services to achieve planned outcomes within agreed timelines
• Recognise the developmental needs of children in need
• Ensure outcomes are achieved sufficiently through thorough assessments
• Maintain up‑to‑date case recordings
• Work closely with children and families under supervision orders
• Conduct and record 6‑weekly visits consistently
• Carry out both announced and unannounced visits
• Ensure child protection and looked‑after children processes are implemented
• Seek legal advice as required regarding supervision or care orders
