A kind and welcoming family based in Chelsea is seeking a warm, proactive Weekend Nanny to care for their happy and inquisitive three-year-old son.

The role runs from Friday evening through to Sunday evening and includes overnight care, with the nanny staying at the family home during working hours.

The successful candidate will support the child’s routine across the weekend, planning and accompanying age-appropriate activities, arranging playdates, and encouraging imaginative play. Responsibilities also include preparing healthy, nutritious meals, supporting emotional and cognitive development, and overseeing bath and bedtime routines. Sole charge will be required for the majority of the weekend.

The little boy has a sweet and gentle nature. He can be slightly shy initially but warms quickly to both adults and children. He enjoys imaginative play, particularly with cars and planes, and attends a local swimming club.

The family employs a housekeeper, allowing the nanny to focus entirely on childcare. While this is primarily a sole-charge role, the parents may occasionally be present.

The ideal nanny is nurturing, confident, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development, with a calm and intuitive approach to helping a young child reach key milestones. This role would suit a career nanny seeking a long-term weekend position with a thoughtful and respectful family.
