What You ll NeedTo be considered, candidates must have:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Children & Young People s Services (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing a children s residential care home
- Strong understanding of OFSTED standards, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory frameworks
- Ensure full compliance with OFSTED regulations and Quality Standards
- Lead, mentor, and support your team with consistency and compassion
- Build trusted relationships with families, local authorities, and external agencies
- Champion best practices in safeguarding, care planning, and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain a homely, child-centred environment

Essential Qualifications & Experience- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children & Young People s Services (or equivalent)
- Recent experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years
- Experience supervising, managing, or mentoring staff
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation:
- Children s Homes (Quality Standards 2015)
- Children s Homes Amendment Regulations 2011
- Care Standards Act 2000
- OFSTED frameworks and policies
