Social Worker Temporary

Position: Social Worker (Contract, Temporary)
Job Ovevriew:

We are looking for qualified Social Worker.

Qualifications:

* Educated to degree level with a relevant professional qualification in Social Work.

* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Social Work, Leadership and Management).

* Active registration with Social Work England with proven evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Skills and Experience:

* Good understanding of the Children Actand the Children and Families Act 2014.

* Familiarity with:

* Local Single Assessment Framework

* Working Together to Safeguard Children

* Pan Berkshire Child Protection Procedures

* Looked After Children (LAC) processes

* Experience of working with children and families in either a voluntary or statutory setting.

* Ideally experience with Disabled Children, Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC).

* Experience of building strong partnerships, maintaining effective working relationships, and co-producing solutions with a diverse range of stakeholders, including children, young people, and families.

* Ability to advocate effectively for the voices of children, young people, and families.

* Proven ability to use data, intelligence, and evidence to generate meaningful insight and inform decision-making.

* Experience of maintaining accurate case records in accordance with local policy and producing high-quality:

* Reports

* Presentations

* Written updates for stakeholders (including families, children, and young people)

* Experience of identifying and addressing equality and diversity issues within practice, taking appropriate action to resolve them
