Registered Children's Home Manager; EBD

Overview

On behalf of my client we are looking for a Children’s Home Manager for the Thamesmead area. You need to be dynamic, ambitious and energetic with experience in managing residential homes for children and young people aged 10-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning difficulties, and/or history of mental health problems.

• Registered Manager’s award
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services or a Level 4 qualification relevant to working with children, as well as in management
• At least 2 years experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last 5 years
• At least 1 year experience of supervising and managing professional staff

You must have excellent leadership and management skills, good organisational skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You must also have the ability to deliver at least a ‘good’ rating in the home’s first Ofsted inspection or maintain an ‘outstanding’ rating. Passion, drive, resilience and ambition.

This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week and the salary is £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
